Community Engagement Scholars Program:
Integrative Community Engagement Project (ICEP)

All students in the Community Engagement Scholars Program are required to complete a final project, called the Integrative Community Engagement Project (ICEP). These projects are done in partnership with a Twin Cities community organization. Students are challenged to create a project that will provide long-term benefits to the organization and the community.

The possibilities for these projects are vast. (See links below for examples.) Students in the Scholars Program have strong backgrounds in community work, and they represent a wide variety of majors and career interests. These diverse interests lead to unique and substantive ICEP projects.

To get a sense of the work accomplished by Scholars students—or to get ideas for your own ICEP—see the links below for descriptions.
