Outstanding Community Partner Award
Each year, the Career and Community Learning Center recognizes several community partner organizations for their outstanding commitment and dedication to our work as co-educators. We began offering the "Outstanding Community Partner" award in 2002. In 2004, we also instituted an award for "New Community Partner." Find a list of award winners below!
Criteria to be considered for these awards:
- Receives positive feedback from students about their experience at the community organization.
- Maintains good communication with CCLC staff.
- Has a long history (except "New Partner Award") of working with CCLC in multiple ways (e.g., service-learning classes in different disciplines, volunteer opportunities through our Community Placement Service, etc.)
- Regularly participates in CCLC sponsored meetings and events.
- Demonstrates a willingness to think outside the box and exceed expectations (e.g., create unique opportunities for students, provide leadership for training/reflection, serve on committees, participate in faculty development workshops, etc.)
